| I created this Web site about six years ago to provide writing samples for prospective freelance clients or employers. I also did it to amuse those become lost on the "information highway" and find themselves here.
On this site you will find writing samples from different genres including humor (outdoors and otherwise), slice-of-life columns, editorial, electronic publishing and news writing. You will also find IrvMagazine, my prototype e-zine. I've just added a feature called Raw Footage.
One thing you won't find is poetry. Not that I haven't written any. I have. When my mother found the poetry I had written as a teenager, she burned it. Which only inspired me to write more. When I reread it as an adult, I burned it.
